Lets Have some Fun

What is going on everyone.

Welcome back and I must say that it is that time of year.  Stay and myself have been planning some awesome trips for this camping season and we are ready to have fun. So, here is a funny story.  Hope you enjoy.

In March we went camping, we have an inflatable hot tent that we (I really should say I (jay) wanted to try and use. So, for my birthday my sister purchased me a wood burning stove for the tent.  I was so excited. So, we booked our site for just an overnight stay at our favorite state park (all who know us or have been following you guys know which park that is). We had all of our usual items we take, set up camp as we do and we were ready for the night. Stay cooked and the food was good as always; we had foil packets. Maybe we could do a video on that soon, but back to the story.  It was starting to get dark and being that it was March the temperature was dropping. I wanted to get the stove going inside of the tent so I got the wood and lit the fire so the tent would begin to warm up. Well, I seen that the fire was dying down and I opened the door of the stove and moved some of the logs around and because I did that the tent being to fill up with smoke (lol). We hurried up and opened the windows, unzipped the doors to allow the smoke to exit.

We gave it about 10 minutes are so and it cleared up. So, we proceeded to go in the tent for the night, but I could not even enjoy. I was so worried about smoke and of course carbon monoxide. I looked over to Stay and said I think we should go, she was all comfortable with her headphones on and watching a show on her tablet, but she did agree. So, we got dressed and begin to pack up camp only after a few hours of being there. It was so dark and cold out there. We both were sad, but safety was our main thing. We (I) learned a lot. Of course I had to hear about this from Stay, but we did get a good laugh.   Within the next few days, I went out and purchased a carbon monoxide detector for the tent. I will mention that before we got to the site I prayed and asked God to keep us safe as we always do, I believe that God gives us common sense to recognize dangers seen and unseen. God surely kept us safe that night. But all and all we have a story to tell, and it is truly a good one. We always have fun no matter what happens or takes place. We do have some more adventures coming up and we cannot wait to share them with you all, if you get anything out of this blog today, please be safe. Make sure that you do your homework before getting out there.  Now, I did watch a lot of videos on hot tenting and read up on it, but I guess the excitement had me so ready to go and eager to use it that I just forgot.

Safety is very important when camping, really when doing any activity.  So, as always, we so appreciate you all that follow us on here and all the other platforms that we are on. Remember to be safe out there and like we said before, feel free to comment, send camping ideas, stories and even those prayer request. Be blessed.
